Hello! Just came across your blog when I was googling Tayo Literary Magazine. I have had a submission accepted into the magazine, as well, a fiction piece. I'm not sure I'll be able to attend the launch party myself, although I do live in L.A. However, I wanted to say congrats! It's nice to meet someone who is on the same boat as me. :) Great blog, too. Lots of great resources posted here!
Melanie, Congrats on your acceptance to Tayo! I'm disappointed I won't be able to attend the launch, so yes, it is nice to hear from another contributor. I look forward to reading your work. I'm sure this won't be the first time our words cross paths...
